Details & Pricing

Expected Timeline

Typically, I return a price estimate to you in three to five days.

The painting typically takes four to six weeks to complete, depending on my schedule.

Payment Options

I accept payment by check or cash given to me personally.  Depending on the estimate I have given you, I may ask for a deposit of half of the amount once you have seen a  pencil sketch and approved it.  We will discuss that when I share my estimate with you. For any transactions at a distance, I am able to receive payments via PayPal or by credit card but because of the fees, you can expect the price to reflect an additional 25% more.

Customer Satisfaction

When I have completed your painting, I will email you an image to you. If you would like to make minor adjustments, I will do my best to accommodate them depending on the nature of the changes you would like.  Often, I will send photos via email along the way, e.g. preliminary pencil sketch on plain paper and again once I have transferred the image to the watercolor painting, to show you my progress and allow you suggest any changes before the final painting begins.  This usually corrects or enhances any details you would like to have changed.

NOTE: With regards to archival quality, I use Arches 300 lbs. cold press paper, Winsor & Newton paints and Kolinsky sable brushes. So your painting should last and not fade as much as any watercolor painting, assuming it is framed behind glass and kept away from direct sunlight.

Thank you for your business!
